ProQuest America utilizes a range of assessment tools to gain a thorough understanding of individual and organizational strengths and challenges.

Understanding where you are is crucial to grow to the next level.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

The MBTI is an instrument that has helped millions understand themselves and others.  It provides insights into one’s natural approach to communication, learning and work style.  It is especially useful in understanding one’s approach to leadership and working within a team.

DiSC is another personal assessment tool that helps improve teamwork and cooperation, resulting in higher productivity.  At its broadest, DiSC measures four aspects of personality: dominance (D), influence (i), steadiness (S), and conscientiousness (C). These are the foundational traits from the original DISC model.

360-Degree Feedback

This process prompts feedback from an employee’s subordinates, colleagues, and manager(s), as well as their own self-evaluation. Such feedback can also include, when relevant, feedback from external sources who interact with the employee, such as customers and suppliers or other interested stakeholders.

Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI™)

This tool inventories a person’s preferred conflict-handling mode providing detailed information about how they effectively use all five modes—competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding and accommodating.

Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation (FIRO-B)®

FIRO-B is a helpful tool for understanding workplace relationships.  The theory is based on the belief that when people get together in a group, there are three main interpersonal needs they are looking to obtain – affection/openness (connection), control and inclusion.  Understanding these needs can repair strained relationships and strengthen good relationships.

When people know what makes them talented and unique, they know how to perform better in their job.  The CliftonStrengths Assessment helps employees become more engaged, perform better in their roles, and find more health and happiness.
